GBG KnowYourPeople provides an online screening platform covering a wide range of background checks including, but not limited to, adverse financial checks, employee reference and qualification checks, identity checks and PEPs, sanctions and enforcement checks. GBG OnlineDisclosures provides an online platform for undertaking criminal record checks – both in the UK and overseas. Amongst others, background checks can be carried out on UK-resident employees (prospective and existing), investors, investee companies and service providers. By becoming a GBG Channel Partner, Varramore has further enhanced its governance, risk and compliance offering to its clients – typically, small to medium-sized investment firms based in the UK. As well as being well positioned to advise our clients on the background checks that must or should be undertaken, Varramore is now able to offer a solution to deliver on this advice.

Gerard is a Chartered Fellow (Chartered FCSI) of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (“CISI”) and is a Member of the Association of Professional Compliance Consultants (“APCC”).
